Pues vamos allá. Deviantart, no te reconozco. Otrora una web refugio de artistas donde publicar libremente su arte, ahora rebosas mojigatería por todos tus orificios. ¿Qué rayos te ha pasado?¿En qué momento decidiste traicionar los principios en los que te fundaste y unirte a la apestosa corriente de corrección política que engangrena nuestra sociedad?

Te voy a recordar una cosa. Tu nombre es DeviantArt. No es NormalArt, ni TradicionalArt, ni PoliticamenteCorrectoArt. Es DeviantArt. Deviant, que según el diccionario se traduce como "apartarse de los estándares habituales o aceptados, especialmente en el comportamiento social o sexual".

Entonces, ¿A qué viene tanta censura?¿Por qué cada vez que leo las políticas de uso hay nuevas restricciones en cuanto a publicar contenido sexual? ¿Es que acaso quieres convertirte en un nuevo Instagram? Puede que quieras engañar a nuevos usuarios, haciéndoles creer tu postura bienqueda, pero a tus usuarios de toda la vida literalmente los estás traicionando. Quienes llevamos aquí un tiempo sabemos por qué nos metimos en tu plataforma.

Yo entiendo que, como empresa que eres, quieras abrirte a nuevo público y hacer de tu espacio un lugar para que muchos tipos de personas puedan expresarse, pero no sé si te habrás dado cuenta que censurando el contenido erótico estás mandando a la mierda a un buen pico de tu comunidad (y uno de los pilares que te sustentan, me atrevería a decir). ¿Realmente te vale la pena? Y lo grave es que no haría falta censurar ningún tipo de contenido (siempre que sea legal) ¡porque ya existen filtros! ¿Para qué sirven esos filtros que tienes si la mayor parte de lo que podría filtrar es contenido no permitido?

Yo sé que este texto no van a cambiar nada, pero al menos externalizo el sentimiento de traición que me provoca esta plataforma (es esto o cerrar mi cuenta definitivamente) Y por lo que veo, seguramente siga un camino parecido al de Tumblr (¿alguien se acuerda de Tumblr?) Y si sigue así, con el tiempo incluso censurarán el pezón femenino.

In last years I realized that erotic contents are being victims of prudish measures in the road of a fake path of virtue and politically correct. Despite the existence of filters of mature contents, many websites are restricting the liberty of many erotic artists, limiting more and more the kind of things that they can display, and therefore their creativity. Nowadays DeviantArt has become one of them.

I'm an erotic artist. I enjoy drawing erotic, pornographic and obscene BDSM illustrations and comics. And they still being art. Why this kind of art is less valid than non erotic art? Why is my art no longer welcome here? (especially considering that there are the mentioned filters of mature contents that makes it visible to the right people and protect minors and delicates ones).

I'm tired to suffer censorship everywhere. I always thought DeviantArt was a safe place for everyone to express themselves freely. I was wrong. But I've been on DeviantArt for a long time and I don't want to leave, neither to get my account deleted.

To my regret I've made a decision. Like other artists are doing, I'm removing all illustrations that can be misinterpreted by the staff. And, from now, I won't upload any contents that could be interpreted like porn.

I'm so sorry but I hope things change in the future.
